Aesthetics

As we age, the production of key substances in the skin, including hyaluronic acid (along with collagen and elastin) decreases. As a result, our skin loses volume, hydration, and plumpness.

At HYDRO, we take your skin needs seriously. We'll work with you to help you achieve natural-looking and longer-lasting results. Whether it's neuromodulators, dermal fillers, or our functional aesthetics services, we'll ensure your experience aging is a positive one.

Functional Aesthetics

Chronologically getting older is inevitable; there is nothing we can really do about that. There are several things that cause more rapid aging such as: diet, exercise, stress, toxins, allergens, smoking, microbiome, mitochondrial dysfunction. Biological aging though, is not necessarily inevitable.

HYDRO Med Spa partners with our clients and their healthcare even down to your aesthetic appearance. We believe aging should be a positive experience, not a negative one. Aging that achieves attractive, natural-looking results can have a positive impact on one’s self-esteem and overall well-being.

HYDRO Med Spa has certain treatments available that focus on the root cause of your aging which we have called Functional Aesthetic Treatments. These treatments help to stimulate the body’s ability to produce more collagen and elastin which in turn will help turn back the hands of time and slow down the biological aging process.

Ultherapy

Ultherapy® uses microfocused ultrasound to generate a thermal (heat) effect under the skin.

This effect essentially jump-starts your body’s own process to create fresh, new collagen without any downtime. Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive procedure that lifts the neck, chin and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the upper chest.

Providing proven results in a single treatment, ultherapy uses ultrasound therapy to go further than other treatments for collagen production.

By using traditional ultrasound imaging, we can see the layers of tissue we’re treating. This way, we can make sure the energy reaches where it can benefit you most.

Ultherapy treats your loose skin without impacting the skin’s surface and with no downtime, ensuring beautiful and natural-looking results that only get better over time.

Radiesse +

Infrared/LED Light Therapy

We use a high-intensity LED photobiomodulation therapy that is medical-grade and completely hands free. It has four customized treatment modes that enhances outcomes for The Salt Facial and many other aesthetic treatments. This high-intensity light has been proven to kill surface and sub-surface bacteria, treat acne, remove redness and inflammation, stimulate collagen production, promote healing, and improve blood flow in the superficial layers of the skin. This makes The SaltFacial’s LED one of the strongest on the market.

4 Treatment Modes:

  • LED Phototherapy

  • Blue LED

  • Red LED

  • Near-Infrared LED (NIR)

Ozone

Rosacea is a common, non-contagious inflammatory skin condition that can lead to telangiectasia, also known as spider veins. One typical way to treat this condition is by using lasers to remove spider veins.

Unfortunately, in Florida, lasers are not the safest approach. Ozone (O3) is activated oxygen that is also antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal that can be injected directly into the spider vein on the face to remove the appearance of the vein while also helping to treat the rosacea at the same time. Treatments will depend on the severity of the rosacea and how well the client responds to therapy.

Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers

Most dermal fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid (HA), a “sugar” found naturally in the skin that is responsible for hydrating and plumping up the tissues by attracting water to replace the volume lost as we age.

Revanesse Versa and Lips+

Neuromodulators

Neuromodulators, also called neurotoxins, temporarily paralyze the muscle to prevent movement which can improve fine lines and wrinkles. Neurotoxin treatments are mainly used to smooth dynamic wrinkles, or those wrinkles that form as a result of facial movements like frowning, squinting, smiling, and other expressions we tend to make day after day. This treatment works by blocking nerve impulses to the muscles, causing them to relax. As a result, your expressions soften and the dynamic wrinkles are greatly reduced. You do not need to look “frozen” to look natural.

(When it comes to using your muscles please remember: If you do not use it, you lose it! Using neuromodulators, even in the short-term, causes muscle atrophy. Muscle atrophy is a thinning of the muscle that is being injected. While this is a great and quick fix to fine lines and wrinkles, it is not sustainable as the only long-term solution to anti-aging. Since wrinkles have a multitude of causes, not just due to muscle contractions, we do not solely rely on using neuromodulators for long term treatment of wrinkles. That is where we begin to look at other treatment options to promote more collagen and elastin stimulation. Remember, you do not have to have visible signs of aging to begin using treatments that will stimulate collagen and elastin.)

How Long Do Results Last?

A majority of clients can see a reduction in wrinkles for 2-3 months; however, due to various reasons this can be shorter or longer in duration.

Some factors that can influence longevity of your treatment results may include:

  • Genetics - Some patients will respond differently due to differences in their receptors.

  • Anatomy which can affect muscle size, shape, and strength.

  • Rarely an immune difference which causes toxin resistance – an existing antibody or development of an antibody from previous exposure to all or some brands of botulinum toxin.

  • Not following aftercare instructions such as avoiding strenuous exercise.
