Testosterone Replacement Therapy

At Hydro Infusions, our goal is to recalibrate your testosterone levels to perform at its optimal level. This begins by evaluating your baseline bio-markers and implementing a plan that restores you to your younger self. Our unique HYDRO TRT process examines an intricate web of factors. Each component works in concert with the others to make up how you feel and perform. If one area is out of tune with the others, you may experience unpleasant fluctuations in your emotions, sex drive, weight and energy. Hydro Infusions is dedicated to evaluating your current overall health, applying individualized prescribed treatments, and monitoring your progress for optimal vitality.

The key to evaluating, diagnosing, and improving your optimal health is our four-step HYDRO TRT process. The process offers you a comprehensive and customized overview of your current health, educates you on your unique needs and prescribes treatments and supplements under the guidance of our expert medical staff.

How It Works

Our simple 4-step process makes it easy to optimize your health

Step 1: Blood Panels

In order to fully assess your current health, we begin with a comprehensive diagnostic blood screen. We measure your testosterone, estradiol, cortisol, free testosterone, growth hormone and many other markers at no additional cost to you. This data gives our medical staff insight into crucial aspects of your health and allows us to locate deficiencies and determine their causes. Equipped with this data, we can begin to develop treatments for your specific health needs.

Step 2: Evaluation

After an extensive review of your blood screen and testosterone levels, our clinical team meets with you to conduct a physical exam and assess your health concerns, goals and current lifestyle. The blood panels, exam and consultation provide us with the data we need to create your customized therapy plan and address your personal health goals. Our comprehensive approach allows us the insight needed to revitalize your life.

After your consultation, Hydro Infusions will identify specific biomarkers that need improvement. The process also allows our medical specialists to identify any factors that could lead to your body functioning at less-than-optimal levels and to prescribe options for treatment in our office.

Step 3: Execution

Our doctors know that your health, hormones and sexual performance are all interrelated. Unlike some general practitioners, we do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all solution to your sexual health needs. We offer in-office, personalized procedures and customized medications to revitalize your sex life, decrease stress and detoxify your body. Using your specific bio markers and evaluation as a guide, our medical team can address your unique health needs to increase your vitality and rejuvenate your life.

  • Testosterone Replacement: We keep medication in the office and dispense shots or pellets right after your visit. Our team is concerned on making you feel better. We offer the following testosterone treatment options: Testosterone injections and Pellet Therapy. We make sure that your prostate is protected via our specialized prostate support supplement and that your estradiol levels stay optimized via supplements or medications.

  • Nutraceuticals and IV Therapy: At Hydro Infusions, we offer a full suite of customizable, performance-enhancing, hydrating and balancing Nutraceuticals. Equipped with the data from Steps 1 and 2, we can infuse your body and life with nutrient-rich IVs which will replenish your systems and revitalize your daily life.

Step 4: Follow up and Reassessment

At Hydro Infusions, your in-office consultation and treatments are just the start of your overall optimization. You will have access to your own Hormone Specialist whose sole task is to guide you through this process. Your provider will lay out detailed instructions that accompany your individualized plan and your Hormone Specialist will follow up to help you stay on track. We also perform no cost labs as needed to monitor your levels. If you ever have a question, your Hormone Specialist or Provider will be at your service.

  • Erectile dysfunction

  • Reduced sex drive, desire, and stamina

  • Low sperm count and infertility

  • Smaller testicles

  • Enlarged or swollen breast tissue

  • Low energy levels

  • Moodiness and irritability

Be aware that low T symptoms cannot be self-diagnosed!
Only a blood test can determine if your hormone count is truly low.

7 Effects of Boosting Low Testosterone Levels in Men

  • Testosterone is a significant factor in daily energy levels due to its role in the production of red blood cells. These vital cells provide oxygen to the body and help to convert fat and carbohydrates into energy. As a result, men with low testosterone tend to experience extreme mental and physical fatigue. Though you may occasionally feel tired due to a stressful day or lack of sleep, it’s important to note that if you are experiencing chronic fatigue then low testosterone levels may be to blame. However, replacement therapy can bring low levels back to normal, boosting energy and vigor. One you experience the powerful effects; you will be saying “yes” to that workout session or round of golf in no time!

  • If you have been experiencing a lower than usual sex drive, you may want to look into testosterone replacement therapy to regain optimal libido. Low testosterone levels can wreak havoc on a man’s sexual health, leading to reduced desire and erectile dysfunction. A study featured in the The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, found that libido and testosterone levels are strongly correlated. The findings discovered that the subjects who described experiencing lower sexual desire had a higher chance of having low testosterone. When low levels were restored to normal, the men experienced improved sexual desire and function, allowing them to get their sex life back on track!

  • Looking to build muscle and sculpt your body? That may be a difficult feat if you are living with low T. Testosterone plays a major factor in muscle protein synthesis, which repairs muscle damage caused by weightlifting and exercises leading to increased muscle mass. One study measuring the effect of testosterone on strength, found that muscle mass increased by an average of 20% in all nine test subjects after receiving doses of the male hormone. When combined with the right diet and exercise, you can expect to build more lean muscle after restoring your testosterone levels.

  • Did you know that in addition to increased muscular strength, testosterone can also aid in fat loss? According to a study, men who are deficient in testosterone who received replacement therapy experienced a reduction in both waist circumference and BMI. This is likely due to the fact that men with increased muscle mass and tissue burn more calories, even at rest.

Men who are overweight or obese are more likely to have low testosterone levels since fat cells can turn testosterone into estrogen (a female sex hormone). Since you are at increased risk of low T if you are at a higher weight, it is best to get your levels checked to see if low testosterone is a contributing factor.

  • Testosterone plays a major role in cognitive performance. According to research, testosterone replacement has resulted in increased mental function in the areas of mathematical reasoning, verbal memory, and concentration. Plus, testosterone therapy has been shown to reduce the risk of developing dementia and Alzheimer’s disease in aging men. Therefore, it is vital to keep your testosterone levels in check in order to protect your brain health.

  • Did you know that testosterone can improve heart health in men? As mentioned previously, testosterone plays a crucial role in red blood cell production. Low levels of these key cells can negatively affect cardiovascular health, leading to increased risk of a variety of heart health conditions and diseases such as coronary artery disease and heart attack.

Fortunately, scientific studies have shown promise in reducing this risk using testosterone replacement therapy to restore low T levels back to normal. In fact, a European Heart Journal study of over 83,000 patients found that men whose low testosterone was restored using testosterone replacement therapy had a lower risk of heart attack, stroke, and even death compared to men who were not treated. Replacing low testosterone levels is necessary to live a long and healthy life.

What Causes Low Testosterone?

There are many reasons why you may be suffering from low testosterone. First and foremost, it’s natural to lose testosterone as you age, which is why supplementation is necessary. However, certain health conditions may be causing your levels to decline even further.

Primary and Secondary Hypogonadism

Primary hypogonadism is when the testes are not producing a sufficient level of testosterone due to a genetic condition, accident, or illness. These include:

  • Cancer treatment — radiation therapy and chemotherapy can interfere with sperm production and change testosterone levels.

  • Klinefelter syndrome — this is a common chromosomal disorder (1 in less than 1,000 men have it) that occurs when a male has two or more X chromosomes.

  • Undescended testicles — men who were born with undescended testicles are more likely to produce less testosterone, even if the condition corrected itself in childhood.

  • Hemochromatosis — Testicular failure, and consequently, low T can be caused by too much iron in the blood.

Secondary hypogonadism is also possible and is an indirect result of damage to the pituitary gland or hypothalamus — the two parts of the brain that control hormone production. This type of hypogonadism is often related to aging, obesity, inflammatory diseases, and certain medications.

  • Normal aging — again, testosterone levels naturally decrease as we age. The rate greatly varies from person to person.

  • Obesity — being overweight is common among patients with hypogonadism.

  • HIV/AIDS — The hypothalamus, pituitary gland, and testes are all affected by HIV/AIDS.

  • Inflammatory diseases — Sarcoidosis, tuberculosis, and histiocytosis negatively impact testosterone production.

How to Correct Low Testosterone

Hormone therapy is a great option for men who are looking to diminish symptoms of low testosterone and improve their mental, physical, and sexual health. There are several forms of testosterone treatments available to choose from. Depending on your symptoms, hormone levels, and lifestyle, you may be suited for one type of therapy more than another. A custom therapy plan will ensure you get the exact results you’re looking for.

Testosterone Injections

Injections are given under the skin or directly into the muscle. This is usually done 1 to 2 times a week though injections schedules may vary per patient. Exact dosage and frequency will depend on your individual needs. Your levels of testosterone will be monitored as injections are given.

Testosterone Pellet Insertion

Pellets are implanted under the skin and act as a long-acting form of therapy. They steadily release a dose of testosterone for up to four months after insertion. Patients tend to favor pellets over injections because of the ease of use.

Topical Testosterone Gel

Topical treatments are ideal for men looking to avoid injections and who prefer performing applications on their own. Hormone topicals are typically applied to the back, shoulders, and upper arms for maximum absorption.
